About Kwara United
A club built like the tree we're named after — slow-grown, deep-rooted, and hard to move.
Our Story
From a Local Pitch to the NPFL
Kwara United F.C. traces its roots to Kwara State Water Corporation Football Club, founded in 1974. Over the years, the club evolved through different identities before being formally re-established as Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin in 1997.
The club earned promotion back to the NPFL in 2017 and has continued to grow its footballing pathway in Ilorin and Kwara State.
